The Central Gauteng Lions batsman smashed 169 off 150 balls (15 fours, 3 sixes) as the visitors amassed 365-6 at the Harare Sports Club, where Senuran Muthusamy then claimed 4-37 to help bundle out the hosts for 181. WILLIAMS WINS BIG AT TITANS END OF SEASON AWARDS FUNCTION

Lizaad Williams was the big winner at the Momentum Multiply Titans Annual Awards, scooping four gongs, including the prestigious Titans Player of The Year Award.

It was the Titans’ final Player of the Year awards of the franchise era, an event which was held virtually, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The major winner of the evening was Williams, whose startling debut season across all formats culminated with a call-up to the national team.

“This is all very humbling. I was thrilled to become a Titans player, but I never expected to make such an impact and settle so well with my teammates this season,” Williams exclaimed.

Wilco Nienaber triumphed in a two man playoff to secure his first professional win Sunday at the Dimension Data Pro-Am on the European Challenge Tour
in his home country of South Africa.

The long-hitting 21-yearold relied on a G425 LST driver, G425 MAX 5-wood, Blueprint irons (3-PW), Glide Forged wedges (52°, 56°, 60°), and a PLD prototype putter.

Last November on the European Tour, Nienaber raised eyebrows with a 439-yard drive using his G425 LST. At the time he led that tour in average driving distance
at 341 yards.
